Cathi Connelly, Founder

Cathi M. Connelly is the Principal founder of Connelly Consulting Group. She brings over twenty years experience building long-term strategic partnerships between nonprofits and business entities. She is skilled at performing market research, analyzing data, and creating a branding strategy that maximizes the company’s investment.

Skilled at designing versatile strategic approaches, Cathi maximizes the company’s role in social change. With her long history in nonprofits, Cathi is able to guide them in establishing measurable outcomes, which positions them to attract corporate attention. She successfully advocates a campaign that provides a mutual vision and effective market advantage for both the nonprofit and the for profit organization.

Cathi’s tough minded analytical decision making skills along with her mission driven focus have allowed her to diplomatically establish a consensus for optimal results. She inspires and motivates others to achieve their full potential.

Cathi holds a Master’s degree in Nonprofit Administration, MNA, from the University of San Francisco, and a second Master’s degree in Business Administration, MBA, from Holy Names University. With majors in the areas of Leadership and Management and Marketing, Cathi bridges the learning curve between the for profit and nonprofit sectors.

A long-time philanthropist herself, Ms. Connelly served on the Regional Board of Directors of Teach for America, the Board of Directors for the Junior League of Oakland East Bay, ABN Housing Corporation, and Girls Scouts of America, Inc. Today, her volunteer activities include serving in various capacities to The Elizabeth House, Oakland, The Perinatal Council, and Oakland Children’s Hospital and Research Center-Rowan Branch, as well as the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation of Northern California.
